Tree Surgery, Cheadle Hulme
Hilltop Avenue, Cheadle Hulme
Following high winds we experienced in 2011 we received a call out from a resident on Hill Top Avenue, Cheadle Hulme. A large Oak tree in their rear garden had been damaged in high winds. As a Cheadle Hulme tree surgeon I was able to attend very quickly. On close inspection the tree had split into two at the main trunk at about 20 feet and a section of approximately 40 feet was lodged precariously over two garages. An extremely technical and potentially dangerous procedure was required.
As the tree was protected by a Tree Preservation Order we needed to inform the local Council and explain the urgency of our work. With photographic evidence as support we were granted approval to proceed with the work. At such times experience and technical ability are crucial.
Thankfully the work, which took place in high winds and heavy rain, went well and required 4 personnel for a full days work. We were pleased there was no damage to the garages or the many shrubs and smaller trees beneath.
